5.5 billion yuan! Negative electrode material project signed!
On September 19, at the 2025 Suining International Lithium Battery Industry Conference, Chongqing Lid Energy Technology Co., Ltd. officially signed an agreement to establish a 5,000-ton solid-state battery composite metallic lithium negative electrode material project in the Lithium Battery Industrial Park of Shehong City, Suining, Sichuan Province, with an investment of 5.5 billion yuan. The project will build a comprehensive lithium-metal industry base covering 400 mu in Suining, and its products will find wide applications in fields such as solid-state batteries, controlled nuclear fusion, and aerospace.
The Huayang New Energy 20,000-ton high-end synthetic graphite anode material production line project has a total investment of 467 million yuan and is planned to have an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of high-end anode materials. The project’s main construction components include core processes such as pre-carbonization, high-temperature carbonization, and automated finished-product lines.

The total industrial output value of the new materials industry in Dongxing District, excluding small-scale enterprises, reached 1.47 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 29.2%. The share of this sector in the district’s overall industrial output rose by 2 percentage points compared to the same period last year, making it a key driver for high-quality economic development in the region. A relevant official from the Dongxing District Bureau of Economy and Science stated that Dongxing District will adhere to the guiding principle of “building and strengthening the district through industry,” attracting enterprises focused on new energy storage materials and other related fields to foster the development of a linked materials industry chain.
