On September 16, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for Huiyang New Energy’s 20,000-ton production line for high-end synthetic graphite anode materials.

It is understood that the Huayang New Energy 20,000-ton high-end synthetic graphite anode material production line project has a total investment of 467 million yuan and is planned to have an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons of high-end anode materials. The project’s main construction components include key processes such as pre-carbonization, high-temperature carbonization, and automated finished-product lines. After reaching full production capacity, the project is expected to generate an additional annual sales revenue of 800 million yuan, an additional annual net profit of 120 million yuan, and contribute an additional 46 million yuan in tax revenue. It will also create approximately 200 new jobs, demonstrating a significant economic ripple effect.
“The pre-carbonization stage can effectively reduce the cost of graphitization, while the high-temperature carbonization stage will focus on high-end products designed for fast charging. We also plan to add another 50,000 tons of finished-product processing capacity in the future, providing stable supply support to more customers,” said Hu Wenliang, Executive Deputy General Manager of Huiyang (Guizhou) New Energy Materials Co., Ltd.
