The 600,000-ton carbon-based new materials project jointly promoted and developed by Guangtou Group and Qinzhou City is an important initiative for thoroughly implementing the strategic plans of the Autonomous Region Party Committee and Government, as well as the Autonomous Region’s “Decision on Promoting High-Quality Development of the Aluminum Industry.” Leveraging our region’s geographical advantages, this project focuses on extending the aluminum industry chain toward coastal areas, accelerating the construction of “One Zone, Two Sites, One Park, One Corridor,” and driving the high-quality development of our region’s aluminum industry. Guangtou Group will remain committed to achieving practical results, emphasizing hands-on implementation, and ensuring effective execution. With a focus on meeting the standards of “high-quality projects, green projects, and clean projects,” we will spare no effort to speed up project construction, bring it into operation at an early date, and fully realize its intended benefits.
Next, the project will fully leverage the advantages of waterway transportation along the Lingang area, coastal and river regions, and the Pinglu Canal, as well as the strategic position of the China-ASEAN International Corridor, focusing on leading industries and concentrating superior resources to accelerate construction efforts and inject momentum into the high-quality development of our region.
Leaders from Qinzhou City, key officials from municipal government departments and institutions stationed in Qinzhou, relevant departments of Qinnan District, the assistant general manager of Guangtou Group, Wang Kun, Party Secretary and Chairman of Guangxi Aluminum Industry Group, as well as the leadership team, middle-level managers, and project personnel from Qiangqiang Carbon Co., Ltd.—a total of over 100 people—attended the project’s launch and construction ceremony.
Qiangqiang Carbon’s 600,000-ton annual capacity carbon-based new materials project This project is an important initiative undertaken by Guangtou Group to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on Guangxi’s work. It actively participates in the planning and construction of the autonomous region’s Pinglu Canal economic belt industrial cluster and serves as a key project for promoting the high-quality development of new-quality productive forces. The project covers a total land area of approximately 427 mu, with a total investment of about 1.988 billion yuan. The construction period is 1.5 years. Upon completion, it will be an intelligent, green, and environmentally friendly pre-baked anode plant featuring advanced and reliable technologies throughout the entire production process. After commissioning, the plant is expected to generate annual revenues of around 2.82 billion yuan, an industrial output value of approximately 2.55 billion yuan, contribute about 140 million yuan in tax revenue, and create nearly 2,000 employment opportunities.
