After being crushed and screened into various particle sizes—including 1–3 cm blocks, 3–8 cm blocks, 8–20 cm blocks, and hand-sized chunks—they are incorporated as aggregate during the production of anode carbon blocks. Spent anode carbon blocks are specifically used as fuel for smelting metals such as copper, aluminum, lead, and nickel, and also serve as raw materials for electrode paste manufacturers in carbon plants.
Recently, the prices of cost raw materials such as petroleum coke have surged significantly (daily increases ranging from 20 to 300 yuan per ton).
The anode carbon blocks also showed an upward trend (ex-factory price, including tax: 5,200–6,000 yuan per ton).
The market for residual carbon blocks has also surged significantly. Currently, hand-carried blocks are trading at 4,300 yuan per ton, and demand from carbon enterprises remains robust, pushing the market into a frenzy!
